How to Find the Best Camping Equipment
“We’re not just a tent company, we’re a camping company,” says Rob Hall, who has been selling tents since 2000.
But his experience as a supplier of tent manufacturing has led him to be a leading advocate for campgrounds, where tent manufacturers are competing against one another for customers.
“We’ve seen a lot of tent manufacturers go from the $30,000 to $500,000 price range, to the $1,000,000 and beyond,” Hall says.
“So that’s where we’re going with the tent manufacturers.”
The Big Tent is one of those manufacturers, and Hall says that his company has won some of the largest and best tent contests in the country.
The Big tent has been around since the 1980s, but the first tent made by the company went on sale in 2002.
The tent has since become a staple in campgrounds across the country, and its popularity continues to grow.
The first tent Hall bought was a $1.9 million tent, and he was able to sell it for $2.5 million when he sold it to a family in California for $4 million.
“They just loved it,” Hall recalls.
“When they had their kids, they could see it as a cool tent, a fun tent, not a huge tent.”
That was back in the 1980’s.
Today, the tent is still popular among families, as well as for campers who want a more durable, functional tent than a traditional tent.
Hall says he sees many tent manufacturers who were built in the ’80s and ’90s, and the prices have been rising steadily over the years.
“You can go to the competition and see what the tents are going for, and they’re going to be $300,000 or $400,000,” he says.
But it’s a struggle for manufacturers to compete with the growing number of tent makers.
“The competition is really stiff right now,” Hall tells me.
“Most tent makers, they’re trying to sell tents for $1 or $2 million or more.
And the prices are going up and up and they need to compete.”
Hall says his company can offer tent buyers a competitive price and quality, but he also says they have to compete on price.
He says the biggest concern is that tent makers are not as skilled as they once were.
“What we’ve seen is people have not learned the ropes.
They’re not as technical as they used to be,” he explains.
But if you’re a tent maker, you’re looking at a $2,000-or-less tent. “
If you look at our prices, we have a tent that’s a $4,000 tent.
But if you’re a tent maker, you’re looking at a $2,000-or-less tent.
The people that are making those tents are really struggling.”
Hall tells The New York Times that tent manufacturers have to keep costs low, and that they can’t afford to compete for customers that have higher expectations for their products.
“Our tent companies are the ones that are going to try to make the most money.
If they make a good tent, they’ll make a lot more money than if they make an inferior tent,” he tells the newspaper.
“But if they don’t make a great tent, then they’re in trouble.”
A tent that does well is one that people want to keep.
But not every tent maker is happy with the competition.
“It’s a very competitive industry, and some companies are very competitive.
Some companies are good at what they do,” Hall adds.
“Companies are starting to realize that if they can sell tents, people are going in,” Hall explains. “
That’s the way things have gone for Hall’s company. “
Companies are starting to realize that if they can sell tents, people are going in,” Hall explains.
That’s the way things have gone for Hall’s company.
In the past, the tents that people wanted were expensive, but now, it’s cheaper to buy a cheap tent.
And that has allowed companies like Hall and other companies to build tents at a lower price point.
The big problem, Hall says, is that there are so many competing tents, and it’s hard for manufacturers and manufacturers to keep prices down.
For example, Hall tells the Times that some companies like to make tents with a base that is the same thickness as a tent, or that’s the same size as a Tent tote bag.
And those tents will cost $20,000-$40,000.
“That’s what we’re competing against, and we’re not making those prices because we have to,” Hall notes.
“I mean, that’s why we’re doing it.
I don’t think anyone in the tent business wants to make a $20 tent.”
As tent prices have dropped, so has the quality.
“Tents are a
